Chicken Deli & Pesto Canapé

Very often when I need to make big batches of finger food, I try ti keep it as simple as possible, these canapés are just that, a little toasted-sliced baguette, any deli meat and delicious home-made pesto. Did I mention that this recipe is also budget friendly?...

 

 

Ingredients:

 

1 cup of fresh basil

 

1/2 cup of pine nuts

 

3 tablespoon of parmesan cheese

 

1/2 cup of olive oil

 

Salt and Pepper to taste

 

 

Directions:

 

1. In a food processor add the basil and the pine nuts, while the machine is running drizzle in the the olive oil, once is formed a paste add the parmesan cheese. Keep cool in the fridge.

 

Enjoy!
