Continuing on my low-carb challenge I came across the avocado buns. Unfortunately, I did not come up with this brilliant idea. It is a copy-cat from a restaurant opening soon in Amsterdam (The Avocado Show). I started following their page on Instagram and when I saw this, I couldn't resist I had to make it.
The recipe is pretty straight forward. Two ripe avocados and burger meat which I seasoned with raz al hanut spices and salt and pepper. Cooked them and added slices of Gouda cheese. Made some sauce with mayo, mustard and ketchup and voila, my burger cravings were satisfied.
As soon as I get a chance to visit this place I will keep you posted.
